Accessibility Features

This site has been built with accessibility in mind. We have endeavoured to make this site as usable and accessible as possible. At the very least, this site conforms to the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines, double-A standard. It also addresses many of the issues covered by the triple-A standards. This site has been Bobby Approved for Accessibility.

If you experience an accessibility issue on this site please contact us and we'll do our best to help.

We have taken into consideration all of the common, as well as most of the uncommon, best practices for making a web site accessible. These practices include, but are not limited to:

- We make sure to provide appropriate alternate text for images. Content images provide equivalent "alt" tags, and complex images include the "longdesc" attributes to help communicate the content of the images.

- Careful consideration of color blindness with regards to visual design and color selection

- While use of JavaScript does provide and enhanced experience, all content of our website is accessible with JavaScript disabled.

- Careful consideration and understanding of the user experience with non-traditional browsers including text-only browsers and screen readers

- Links include "title" attributes where the text of the link doesn't adequately describe the target of the link.

- When possible, links are created to make sense out of context for browsers (such as JAWS, Lynx, Opera etc.)

- Acronyms and Abbreviations include "title" attributes to explain their meaning

- Tables are created so that they are conveniently accessible by screen readers and communicate the information in an equivalently easy to understand method
